PGE Arena Gdańsk is a new stadium to be built for the EURO 2008. The construction of the stadium began in 2008 and completion is planned for the 2011. Once completed, the stadium will have a capacity of about 44 000 seats.
It is interesting to note that the stadium is named after the Polish Energy Group (PGE), which paid about 8.5 million € for stadium name.
