Guss Hiddnik will lead Turkey in EURO 2012 qualifying
Turkish Football Association said that the new coach of the Turkish national team will be Guus Hiddink, who from 1st of August 2010 should take the Turkish team, and lead team through EURO 2012 qualifying.
"The president and vice president of the Turkish Football Federation met with Hiddink in Amsterdam on Tuesday and agreed four-year collaboration with the clause that the last two years are optional."
Hiddnik last week announced that he will not extend the contract with Russian Football Federation after 30 June, when the contract expires. Hiddink, who was Russian team coach since 2006, failed to take Russia to the World Cup in South Africa.
